Benteler was born in 1876 by the hand of Carl Benteler in the German town of Bielefeld. Currently, Benteler has production centers in 35 countries and a staff of 19,100 people. Its presence in Spain dates back to 1990 with the start-up of the group’s first factory in Burgos. There are other factories within the Spanish territory, which are located in Valencia, Barcelona, Burgos, Vitoria, Zaragoza, Palencia, Vigo and Pamplona.

The company develops the so-called JIT (Just In Time) manufacturing of the products requested by Ford, specializing in assembling suspension modules and manufacturing welded assemblies such as dashboard reinforcements or bumper reinforcements.
